It seems to be all about balance with this Arena mode, but continued playtesting may prove a particular class combo to be superior.Patch 26.0, launching tomorrow, is the venue for Hearthstone’s latest expansion, Festival of Legends, launching April 11! The Patch also paves the way for the new Year of the Wolf, adjusts Battlegrounds, Duels, and Arena, and more. Using Rogue and Druid spells to clear minions feels almost dirty. Getting Warlock's Hero Power with classes like Hunter or Warrior allows you to draw your powerful combo pieces early on. Warlock and Rogue are still tier one classes and combine well with anything else.

Unlike regular Arena runs, where we can see which class has the highest win percentage, dual-class area Arena is still too new to decide. Picking the best classes is entirely up to player discretion. Checking HearthArena and using their program is the best way to ensure a passable deck if you are a new player. It's all about finding that synergy that makes your deck work. Having a Sapphire Spellstone with Priest and no Overload is just a waste of a card. If you have the wave clear of Shaman, Volcano or Lightning Storm might be solid replacements. Normally when playing Paladin, Consecration or Truesilver Champion would always be a good pickup, but not necessarily in the Hallow's End. Slapping two classes together and picking the best cards from both sounds like a great idea, butit doesn't always work. Nothing hurts more than only drawing Mad Bombers on turn 10 or Sleepy Dragons in your opening hand. You want cards that allow you to curve out in the early, mid and late game. Cards like Stonehill Defender, Tar Creeper and Cobalt Scalebane are always a good choice, regardless of the class you pick. The rules of regular Arena still hold true here: try and draft cards that work well together, get cards that synergize well together and find all the Bone Drakes. Understanding which cards to draft can be quite the challenge, especially if you aren't up to date on the best cards and classes. Wasting your free run on a run with three losses and no wins would be an outright travesty. Players get one free Arena run just for playing the game during the event. The first class you pick is your Hero Portrait while you get the second's Hero Power. Returning from last year's event, this new Arena permutation slams two classes together in unholy matrimony. 31 will earn a Golden Witches Cauldron, have access to the Sir Annoy-O bundle and access to a brand new dual-class Arena.

Players who log-in between today and Oct. Hearthstone's Hallow's End event has just begun, bringing a plethora of spooky surprises to Blizzard's card game.
